AERIAL YOGA

In VaihAyasa Aerial Yoga, at Kennedy Fitness: A Jefferson Health Affiliate, a soft fabric hammock, supporting up to 1000 pounds, is suspended a few feet off the ground and is used by each person in the class to move through traditional and non-traditional Yoga poses. TABATA :  The Tabata training protocol consists of only 4 minutes of exercise for each round.  Here is how Tabata works – an exercise is performed to failure for 20 seconds.  There is then a 10 second rest (you will need it!) followed by another 20 second bout of intensity.  Each Tabata exercise consists of 8 of these cycles to make up the 4 minutes. Are you up for the challenge? The class includes low impact cardiovascular exercises as well as higher impact plyometric exercises.  Because you are working at your individual most intense level, the class is designed to challenge anyone super athlete or exercise novice.

TABATA SCULPT:  The Tabata training protocol consists of only 4 minutes of exercise for each round.  Here is how Tabata works – an exercise is performed to failure for 20 seconds.  There is then a 10 second rest (you will need it!) followed by another 20 second bout of intensity.  Each Tabata exercise consists of 8 of these cycles to make up the 4 minutes. Are you up for the challenge? The class includes low impact weight training as well as higher impact plyometric exercises.  Because you are working at your individual most intense level, the class is designed to challenge anyone super athlete or exercise novice.
