A class geared toward the older active adult or new to fitness.  This class focuses on building strength, endurance,  improves balance and Stability through safe effective and functional training exercises.  This class is more challenging than a Silver Sneakers class and does not use a chair.

Arthritis Foundation Exercise

Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program (A.F.E.P.) is for participants with arthritis, fibromyalgia, joint limitations, limited mobility and range of motion issues. This is a gentle exercise program taught to upbeat music in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Pre-registration is needed for all participants. Open to non-members for a nominal fee. Inquire at the Service Desk for details.

This class is great for those new to exercise, seniors and members with arthritis, chronic pain, and/or joint injuries.

Every squat, every lunge, every burpee is driven by the music, helping you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more.
You will burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees, burpees, and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats, and kickboxing.
